I know this comm is really really dead, but oh well, maybe I can help!

Hello, my name is hexeengel, and I'm obsessed with vampires :D

Below the cut is a list of my favorite authors, mostly UF, and mostly vampires besides. I also watch "True Blood" and am Team Jasper :P

Ilona Andrews: ilona_andrews - Official site - Amazon page
"Kate Daniels" series

Patricia Briggs: Official site - Amazon page
"Mercy Thompson" and "Alpha & Omega" series

P.C. and Kristin Cast: P.C.'s official site - House of Night official site - Amazon page
"House of Night" series, but planning to look into P.C.'s earlier work

P.N. Elrod: p_n_elrod - Official site - Amazon page
"Vampire Files/Jack Fleming" series

Jeaniene Frost: frost_light - Official site - Amazon page
"Night Huntress" series

Charlaine Harris: Official site - Amazon page
"Sookie Stackhouse/Southern Vampire Mysteries" series (and I adore HBO's "True Blood." Eric Northman = sexy tall blonde Viking vampire.)

Tanya Huff: andpuff - Amazon page
"Quarters" series, "Blood" series (Henry lives in my head), "Smoke" trilogy, "Summoner" trilogy, Gate of Darkness, Circle of Light, The Fire's Stone, got her new title, The Enchantment Emporium, for Christmas 2009 and am hoping it becomes a new series!

Madeline L'Engle: Official site - Amazon page
The "Time" Quintet

C.S. Lewis: Amazon page
"The Chronicles of Narnia" (I love the Wonderworks production (that only went up through The Silver Chair), a very old animated version of The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe, and the new movies thus far)

Stephanie Meyer: Official site - Amazon page
"The Twilight Saga" (yes, the movies too. Gimme Jackson Rathbone plzkthnx, mmm...)

C.E. Murphy: mizkit - Official site - Amazon page
"Walker Papers" series, "Old Races" trilogy
Interesting Note: I found out after I became a fan of her writing that she's good friends with my aunt O.o Small world!

Anne Rice: Official site - Amazon page
"Vampire Chronicles," of course! (But I only read up through Tale of the Body Theif. I have it on good authority *coughMomcough* that Anne lost her damn mind after that :P "Interview" movie was fantastic, "Queen of the Damned" is OK if you disassociate it from the book and Vampire Lestat, and there are rumors of re-vamping *giggles* the whole move franchise with Robert Downey, Jr. as Lestat O.o)

L.J. Smith: Official site - Amazon page
"Vampire Diaries" series (but I can't stand the show on The CW), planning to look into "Secret Circle" series

J.R.R. Tolkein: Official site - Amazon page
The Hobbit, "The Lord of the Rings" series (Bakshi and Jackson have made the good movies, "Stinky Fish" (Rankin and Bass)... well, stink :P)

Individual Fiction Titles
~ Something Wicked This Way Comes and The Halloween Tree by Ray Bradbury
~ The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger
~ The Lord of the Flies by William Golding
~ Lammas Night by Katherine Kurtz
~ The Owl Service by Alan Garner

Oh, and to make things extra interesting, I'm also a (Wiccan) Witch lol Glad to be here!

I love Zelazny and Huff. I have "Lord of Light", but I've never read it. I should move it up my TBR list.
